Terms of Service
Last updated July 2026
These terms cover your use of Grahak, the embedded customer-conversation widget and the shared inbox behind it (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you use Grahak on behalf of a company, you accept these terms for that company.
Grahak is a solo project. It’s built and run by me, Shikhar (ceoshikhar.com). If anything here is unclear, email me at hey@ceoshikhar.com before you rely on it.
1. The Service
Grahak lets you embed a chat widget inside your own product so your customers can ask questions, report bugs, and request features, and gives your team a shared inbox to reply, assign, and resolve those conversations. I may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.
- Email me at hey@ceoshikhar.com if you think someone else is using your account.
3. Your end users
The widget is used by yourcustomers (“end users”). You identify them to Grahak with a signed token from your own backend; end users don’t create Grahak accounts. You own the relationship with them, you need a lawful basis to share their information with me, and you should have your own privacy policy that mentions Grahak.
4. Acceptable use
Please don’t use Grahak to:
- send spam or unlawful, infringing, harassing, or harmful content;
- probe or break its security, or get around usage limits or authentication;
- reverse engineer or resell it, except where the law or the SDK license allows;
- damage or disrupt it, or interfere with anyone else’s use.
5. Your content
You and your end users own the messages, attachments, and other content you put into Grahak (“your content”). You give me permission to host, process, and transmit it only to run and improve the Service. You’re responsible for your content and for having the right to submit it.
6. Fees and billing
- Grahak has a free tier (a Sandbox project) and paid plans (Solo and Team), priced per workspace. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually.
- Payments are handled by Paddle, my merchant of record. Paddle processes the transaction, adds any applicable sales tax or VAT at checkout, and sends your receipt.
- I may change prices, and I’ll give reasonable notice before a change affects your renewal.
- Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
7. Cancellation and termination
You can cancel anytime; your paid access runs until the end of the current billing period. I may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the Service or other people at risk. When an account ends, so does the right to use the Service, and I may delete its data after a reasonable period.
8. Intellectual property
Grahak itself, its software, design, and name, stays mine. These terms don’t give you rights to the Grahak brand beyond using the Service. The Grahak SDKs are covered by their own licenses, published with each package.
9. Third-party services
Grahak runs on third-party infrastructure, like hosting and storage providers. I’m not responsible for those services, and their uptime is outside my control.
10. Disclaimers
Grahak is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. I don’t promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly secure.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, I’m not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. My total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to what you paid me in the twelve months before it arose.
12. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms now and then. If a change is significant, I’ll update the date above and, where it makes sense, let you know. Using Grahak after a change means you accept the new terms.
